Little stories
I paint with tempera and acrylic colours and use pieces of
newspapers. My main idea is to place everyday life in the same space with the strong stream of information.
Sometimes we do not notice news and latest newspapers go to trash.
In my still-lifes news and facts from reality from a background but
they start a new life, and people who are watching my works ask: "What
was it? When did it happen? Why do I not remember?" And the same idea
with the objects. I especially try to get usual thing for my paintings.
They live "a very short life" and are not important for us, because we
live with them every day. In a painting they will get a space of their
own and get a new life.
