Artist: Juan Kasari



Juan Kasari finds new ways to use modern clichés in his work. Usually there is a certain voyeuristic, humorous and political aspects in his works.

He works with different mediums: Mixed media paintings, photography, video, sound, installation, performance.

About mixed media technique: the photos that were the technical starting point have been processed into watercolour/mixed media work. They return to photographic form through colour printing.

He is also one of the founders and the active member of 00130gallery Helsinki.
